A True Friend

Larry was the best kind of friend. I could count on him to be there when I needed him and to tell me the truth, even when he knew I wasn't going to like what he said. He was a gentle soul that could always make me laugh. Watching the Saints during pre-season reminded me of one of his saying "They can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!"

Horseman

Mandeville, La
Larry was the only real Horseman I have ever know. He worked miracles with my horse Carnaval. She did everything he asked her to do, including teaching her to dance to music. Larry, you will never be forgotten.

A true friend

Bogalusa,La.
I can not think of a time we did not have a great time. I was blessed to spend a lot of time with Larry over the years and was lucky to be a part of the Bar Tree Ranch and Camp Blue Bird. I have so many stories. I was more than blessed to have Larry in my life. I lost a friend but gained an Angel.

Sorry for your loss

Larry sounded like he was a great man who will be very much missed. Thanks for sharing his life with us.

Fly high Dad!!

Falls Church, VA
I had the privilege of meeting Dad on my first trip to SLIDELL and New Orleans several years ago. I had heard many colorful stories from my DC MPMC sister Roo and when I finally met him, he was and is one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met! He will always be with us but will be missed in this life…Much love and healing light to his family.

Love and Miss a Wonderful Man

Slidell, LA
Pops, we love you more than you know and you are now riding the skylines chasing the stars. Thank you for showing me how to saddle my horse, helping me figure out what I want in life and what is truely important. There were many life lessons you've taught me and over the last 15 years I've carried those lessons and stories close to my heart

Measure of a man

I only met Mr.Larry maybe twice at Monty and Jean's house. Never had a long conversation with him. Sometimes words aren't necessary to tell the story. The love and coming together of those he left behind are more than enough to show us the world needs more people like him. He's smiling down because many are smiling up.

For Dad/"Coyote"

Washington, DC
I never called him, "Larry," once in my life. He was always just "Dad" or "Coyote." That was the nature of his spirit; he always made you feel like a friend & family instantly. I loved his easy going spirit, straight forward approach to life, and learned many wonderful things from him over the past 15 years. Ride Hard Forever Mud Puppy! Love you.

To Coyote

Slidell, LA
It is hard to think that a great friend, father figure and teacher is no longer with us. He may be gone but Larry "Dad" will always live with me in memory and all the simple little lessons of life he taught me will always remain.
